In year 3/4 this term we have been working on Report Writing as our new genre. We have learnt everything that needs to be included in a Report such as subheadings (diet, habitat, appearance etc), paragraphs, punctuation and much more!
We have been investigating about our favourite animals. What animal have you chosen for your report? What are some interesting facts you have found? What else would you like to find out about your animal?
Looking forward to seeing all your completed reports and learning more about your chosen animal!

Hi Mrs Ladson
I love how the level 3/4 teachers chose report writing as our writing topic.
For my animal report I chose a polar bear because I thought they were cute and cuddly but I was wrong!
Some interesting facts are that Polar Bears eat from the dumpster and get sick. I would like to find out if you can train Polar Bears.
What is your favourite animal?

Dear Mrs Ladson,
I really love doing animal reports during writing. For my animal report I chose to do a dog. Some interesting facts are that dogs can understand more than 250 words and did you know that dogs use 18 muscles to move each ear. Awesome right? I would really like to learn about the different types of dog breeds. If you were doing report what animal would you do and why would you do that animal?

A lion runs 50 miles per hour and their roar can be heard from as far as 5 miles. They also sleep upto 20 hours a day. If you had to write an animal report what animal would you write about?
